Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
This policy explains what AnswerScore (www.answerscore.app) collects when you use it, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can to run the service.
What we collect
- Websites you scan. The URL you enter and the public pages we fetch to score it (the homepage, robots.txt and llms.txt). See AnswerScoreBot for how we fetch them.
- Your email address, if you enter it to unlock fixes, together with the last site you scanned, its score, the number of scans and when you first and last used the service.
- Your marketing choice. Whether you ticked the box to receive tips, and when. It is unticked by default.
- Your IP address, used only to apply rate limits that stop abuse. Rate-limit counters expire automatically, within one day.
- AI visibility questions you type into the AI visibility check, and the brand name and site you enter there.
- Subscription details, if you buy monitoring: your email, the site you monitor, your subscription status and its weekly scan results. Payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy; we never see your card number.
- A browser flag. We save a small value in your browser's local storage so the fixes stay unlocked on your next visit. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To run scans and show your score and fixes.
- To send you one email with your score when you first unlock fixes. This is part of the service you asked for.
- If you subscribe to monitoring, to re-scan your site weekly and email you the results and alerts.
- To send occasional tips, only if you opted in. Every such email lets you unsubscribe.
- To prevent abuse and keep costs under control.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel hosts the website and keeps standard request logs.
- Upstash stores your email record and rate-limit counters (database in the United States).
- Resend sends our emails, so it receives your email address and the email content.
- Anthropic receives the questions you enter in the AI visibility check, to generate the AI answers. Your brand name is not included in those requests.
- Lemon Squeezy sells monitoring subscriptions as our merchant of record. It processes your payment, billing details and taxes under its own privacy policy, and tells us your email and subscription status.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. They handle it under their own data-protection terms.
How long we keep it
We keep your email record until you ask us to delete it. Subscription records are kept while your subscription is active and for as long as needed for tax and accounting afterwards. Rate-limit counters expire within a day. Scan results are not stored on our side beyond the score saved with your email record.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw marketing consent, at any time. Email desalenaidev@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU or UK), you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
AnswerScore is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
